"Just an old-fashioned love song, comin' down in three-part harmony."

Part 1:

The Oregon Coast

I will spend 2-4 weeks southbound along the Oregon Coast Trail, beginning near Astoria.

Part 2:

Washington PCT Northbound

Having completed the California section of the PCT in 2015 and Oregon in 2016, my feet await the Washington section of the Pacific Crest Trail.

Part 3:

North Cascades / Olympic National Forest

I will backtrack from the Canadian border to exit the PCT by way of the PNT, by heading west towards Ross Lake.

I will assess my journey from there and either continue westbound through the North Cascades, or cruise down Highway 20 toward the Puget Sound to pick up the PNT in Port Townsend.

From there I will navigate 221 miles through the Olympic National Forest, concluding my journey at Cape Alava, the westernmost point in the continental United States.

Coming up:

My hope is to return to the trail March 2018 to explore the 800 mile Arizona Trail and pick up the the 3,000+ mile Continental Divide Trail come early May.

Part 1 begins Mid-July 2017
