I woke up in my man cave, satisfied with the protection it offered me from the elements that were swirling about last night.
After hiking a little ways, I happened upon a stream that reminded me of the ones back home in Western North Carolina.
And crossed a really long bridge.
Shortly thereafter, I found some strategically placed rocks that signaled the completion of 300 miles.
And guarded by what appeared to be a stone griffin.
And a rather striking serpent.
18 miles from the cave, I reached my day's destination.
