What a difference a day makes.
Over the past few days, I developed a newfound appreciation for just how spectacular the weather has been for most of this trip.
The air was crisp, the clouds were fluffy, and I took my time getting out of camp, drying everything out and starting my hike around noon.
Things were so green!
And so blue, too.
Plants were bursting with vibrancy and color, letting their little lights shine as only they can.
It felt good to be in the company of the sun.
Having a late start to my day, it felt good to hike until the sky grew dark.
