Today my eyes caught notice of the abundance of wildflowers in the area.
They seemed to be everywhere and freshly bloomed.
Each unique and stunning in its own way.
The diversity of plant life is such a beautiful blessing.
We made it to a lake just before the rain hit and it held off long enough for me to make this video saying thanks to my friend Ash for all the edible goodness he sent me.
We waited out the storm beneath the shade of my tyvek ground cloth and hiked out amongst the freshly watered plants.
I hiked past this peak that had an American flag hanging on top of it.
